You can choose whatβs displayed on the homepage of your site. It can be posted in reverse chronological order (classic blog), or on a fixed/static page. To set a static homepage, you first need to create two Pages. One will become the homepage, and the other will be where your posts are displayed.
Navigate to Settings > Reading > Homepage displays and choose either option.
Your homepage is the first page visitors will see when they visit your site. You can customize it via Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings.
Under the various drop-down tabs on the left of this screen, you'll find a lot of ways to customize your homepage & website in general. Here, you can enable/disable the Display Newsletter, choose your preferred post feed layout, and more.
Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Featured Image Settings.
To enable the Featured Images, toggle the option titled Enable Featured Area
The 4 boxes below the slider on Craftype demo site are called Featured Images. These boxes allow you to draw special attention to any post, page, or general URL you'd like.
Craftype slider displays any number of posts of your choosing in a full-width element toward the top of the homepage.
To enable your featured area slider, you can navigate to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Slider Settings > and enable the element here.
Please ensure your posts have a featured image assigned to them.
Within Appearance > Customize > Slider Settings, you have 6 options for choosing which posts appear in your Slider Settings.
Besides that, you may choose to sort by category and number of slides per page. You can also choose to display posts or products.
To enable Display Heading, toggle the option and type your title and subtitle.
